FAQ

  • Where should I stay?

We have arranged room blocks at the Lough Rea Hotel, and we highly recommend booking your stay here as transportation will be provided to and from the hotel on the wedding night. Please visit the Travel + Stay page for details on how to book, as well as other lodging options.

  • How do I get around?

We recommend renting a car for flexibility, but there are also bus services available from Dublin to Galway, and taxis can be used for local travel. Visit the Travel + Stay page for more details.

  • What should I wear?

For all events except the wedding day, casual attire is appropriate. If you’re joining us for the Cliffs of Moher day trip, we recommend bringing waterproof layers and comfortable shoes.

For the wedding day, we request formal attire. Think "garden party formal"—women should wear floor-length dresses, ideally inspired by a garden party, and men should wear suits.

  • What's the weather like?

October in Ireland can be cold and wet, with temperatures ranging from 55 degree highs, to 40 degree lows. Please bring layers and waterproof gear.

  • Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We are having an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. Our professional photographer will capture all the special moments, and we will be happy to share the photos with you afterward.

  • What is the RSVP deadline?

The RSVP deadline is September 1st. Please make sure to respond by this date to help us finalize our plans and ensure we can accommodate all our guests.
